I've just browsed through the entire series if these photographs, and I was honestly blown away. Having lived there for 15 years (currently at university, though) there were so many landmarks I recognised, yet that were portrayed in an entirely new perspective. You've managed to capture the very spirit, the essence of the city exceptionally in this sequence of pictures, and they were a pleasure to view.
In a way, your work reminds me of Marc Atkins, in that you are able to pluck an interesting photo from a situation where to many people, there would be nothing of importance to see. But the very importance is in the focused detail of the extraordinary within the ordinary, the commonplace. So many snapshots of the city have focused on what might be termed more 'obvious' landmarks, taken from regularly used vantage points. It's nice to see the city done justice for once, as it has been in this set of pictures.
